CScott Solutions was born from individuals recognizing that the security and prosperity of our Nation depends upon the succesful integration of innovation into operational capacity as the battlespace evolves.

We are people who come from backgrounds of Military and Aviation and have decades of combined experience that you will not find anywhere else in the industry. Our story began years ago when the founding members realized a change was needed to keep our Nation competitive.

CScott Solutions seeks to be recognized as the Nations premier strategic integrator for advanced aerospace, autonomous systems, and national security modernization. Our reputation shall be built upon integrity, operational credibility, technical excellence, and a steadfast commitment to mission accomplishment.

Our mission is to partner with government, industry, academia, and allied organizations to solve the complex strategic, operational, technical, and regulatory challenges associated with modern defense and aerospace capabilities.

Success shall never be measured solely by contracts awarded or reports delivered. Success shall be measured by capabilities fielded, partnerships strengthened, missions accomplished, and lives protected.

Leadership

Christopher Hewlett - President and CEO

CDR Christopher “Hewy” Hewlett, USN (ret) has 30 years of experience in aviation operations, safety, modernization, system optimization for next - generation aviation systems, and assessment of developing and deployed aviation command & control systems. He has extensive experience supporting the U.S. Navy in modernizing rotary wing manned and unmanned aviation through integration, implementation and test/evaluation of new systems. Chris is currently the President and CEO of a Small business (CScott Solutions, LLC) which contracts to Grand Sky and the Grand Forks County Team. He is the Director of Project ULTRA (UAS Logistics, Traffic, Response, Autonomy) working for the development and implementation of new operational capacities for AAM, UAS, cUAS and UTM for the Office of Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisitions and Sustainment. He was formerly with the Thales Air Traffic Control and Air Mobility Solutions Teams. Before opening his own business, he worked for both Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Deloitte Consulting and was responsible for development and implementation of both firms’ newly formed Teams working Advanced Aerial Mobility Drone Services. AAM and Drone Services provide UAS strategy, application and analytics to a host of commercial, federal and state and local clients. While in those roles, Chris advised on multiple engagements in both the commercial and federal space and lead several major engagements to establish UAS offerings in the consulting arena. Before consulting, Chris spent 21 years on active duty in the US Navy, flying helicopters, drones and leading large teams of sailors to integrate and test new aviation system designs through operational test/evaluation for the purposes of engineering design validation, enhancing safety and smoothing the acquisition management lifecycle. In the areas of UAS, he has managed organizational change and efficiency and developed individual and team talent. His command experience in the Navy was to guide the creation of a new helicopter squadron, which established the first dual platform unit, integrated with a combination of 25 manned aircraft and UAVs. As such, he is considered a senior executive advisor and consultant - trusted to develop critical advice on policy, strategy and operational risk for UAS integration. Chris is originally from Los Angeles California, but now lives in Northern Colorado.

Kristen Hewlett -

Kristen Hewlett serves as Chief Operating Officer, leading finance, IT, human resources, and enterprise operations. She brings 30 years of experience building efficient, resilient operations for complex, multi-entity organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Operations and Finance for the Consumer Brands Association, a large trade association serving America’s $2.1 trillion food, beverage and consumer products industry. Here she oversaw finance, accounting, IT, human resources, and facilities across the organization and its affiliated entities. Earlier in her career, she held senior executive finance leadership roles at MCI USA and Chazin & Company, where she managed finance and operations for dozens of multifunctional clients, building systems, processes and teams to support their growth. Kristen holds an MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Business from the University of Arizona. She brings a steady, detail-oriented approach to enterprise operations and a proven track record of driving financial stability and organizational growth.
